Public Health Oversight Board

The Public Health Oversight Board provides advice and support to the reform programme and is made up of representatives from national and local government, NHS Scotland, Health and Social Care, Community Planning, third sector and national public health organisations.

Public Health Reform Programme Board

The Public Health Reform Programme Board is responsible for ensuring the Public Health Reform (PHR) programme and its related projects to achieve the required outcomes.

The board will oversee the delivery of the reform programme, reporting to Scottish Ministers and COSLA leaders. The programme board on is made up of representatives from national and local government, NHS Scotland, Health and Social Care, Community Planning, third sector and public health experts.

Commissions and projects

Public Health Scotland will be developed through a series of collaborative commissions which will describe the functions of the new body. Projects have been developed to deliver the functions and support transition to the new public health body.
