Public Health Reform: Developing a shared ambition for the third sector

The purpose of the event is to engage stakeholders from the third sector to raise awareness of public health reform and inform the programme strategy and related milestones to engage the sector in delivering reform.

Outcomes

• Increase awareness and knowledge of public health reform specifically relating to Public Health Scotland, Scotland’s public health priorities and whole system working.
• Agree a shared vision and ambition with the third sector for public health reform as part of a whole system approach to improving health and wellbeing; and
• Agree a strategic approach and associated milestones to engaging the third sector in achieving this shared vision and ambition.

Third Sector organisations with an interest in health and wellbeing and supporting effective collaboration and whole system working to improve the public’s health and action on Scotland’s Public Health Priorities.
